EssentialTimer Data Deletion & Privacy Rights

This page explains how user data is managed and how you can permanently erase all personal workout information associated with EssentialTimer, in compliance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure), CCPA/CPRA, and the Google Play Data Safety Policy.

100% On-Device Storage Notice

EssentialTimer does NOT operate cloud user accounts, remote databases, or cloud profile servers. All session logs, workout configurations, custom photos, and favorites reside solely in your device's sandboxed local storage.

1. In-App Instant Data Deletion (Recommended)

You can instantly delete 100% of all data stored within the app at any time without contacting support:

1. Open EssentialTimer on your device.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the home screen or open the Quick Guide and tap Privacy Policy & Terms.
3. Under Section 4: Right to Erasure, tap the red Clear Data button and confirm.
4. All workout history, personal best records, custom routines, background photos, and preferences will be permanently wiped from your device.

2. App Uninstallation Deletion

Because all data is strictly stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed storage, uninstalling the EssentialTimer application from your iOS or Android device automatically and permanently deletes all app data and local database files.
