Welcome to EssentialTimer. These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the EssentialTimer mobile application for iOS and related services (collectively, the "Application" or "Service").
Never practice breath-holding (apnea) in or near water without certified, direct one-on-one supervision. Practicing breath-hold tables in water without trained safety divers creates extreme risk of Shallow Water Blackout (SWB), Loss of Motor Control (LMC), and fatal drowning.
All apnea tables, breath-hold tests, and interval protocols in EssentialTimer are designed exclusively for dry, seated, or lying down practice on a soft, safe surface. Never use during machine operation or driving.
EssentialTimer is an athletic conditioning tool and interval timer. The Application does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a physician prior to starting high-intensity interval training or breathwork routines.
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use EssentialTimer on compatible iOS devices for personal, non-commercial training. All software, user interface designs, audio synthesis configurations, and branding remain the exclusive property of EssentialTimer.
EssentialTimer operates 100% locally and offline. All custom timers, session history, contraction counters, and background photos are stored on your local device. We collect, transmit, and sell zero personal data.
EssentialTimer is 100% free. There are zero subscriptions, in-app purchases, recurring credit card charges, or trial fees.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ESSENTIALTIMER AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, RESULTING FROM PHYSICAL EXERCISE OR BREATH-HOLD TRAINING UNDERTAKEN WITH THE APPLICATION.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
